Creature-Movement Synchronisation

Hey folks,

I'm currently working on black temple scripts and db and asked myself, if there's something planned to create synchronisation between moving creatures. Everybody knows, you want to have some mobs walking around in an instance or so. But after some time they more and more get seperated from each other, apart from how exactly you set those waypoints. On blizzard there is a sneaky system where a creature waits for another, changing speed to stay synchronous.
But how are plans for cmangos? I mean, this would lead to way more blizzlike experiences - even if it's just a "visual" feature in the end.

Maybe some of you know a bit more about it Wink.

If you set waypoint for every creature in a group, they obvsiouly get separated as they move at the same speed while having different path lengths. Did you try using the creature linking system? I think that should force the followers to stay within a range of the 'master' creature (core developpers should confirm this).

Yes but even if they are excactly same length, they get asynchron. Will try to use creature linking, thx.

Yeah, I know that creature linking works nice, but there is no flag doing what cala described. There is in fact FLAG_FOLLOW, but when you look at the description for that flag

Wll I did some creature linking for db and it works great with mob groobs
